The call started at 1:05pm Eastern.
The PC started the call by reviewing lightning talks in the tool. We need more submissions, so Dave M. will post a message to nanog-announce soliciting them.
Next, we selected session leaders for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We discussed the need for a clock for speakers to use for reference as they give their presentations. Merit kindly offered to figure something out. Dave M. will be preparing his 5 minute and 1 minute reminder notes during the first session at the meeting.
We reviewed the duties of session leaders, which includes clock management, making announcements, introducing the speakers, and moderating the Q&A lineups.
We confirmed the plans for the socials at NANOG 48. We also confirmed the schedule for the informal BOFs, which will run on Tuesday starting at 4:30pm alongside the track sessions. The PC will select BOF leaders during lunch on Tuesday.
We finally discussed the logistics of the survey, which Merit will run. We need to remind attendees to take the survey from the NANOG Wifi network, so they are entered into the drawing.
Tom D. offered to create a meeting cheat sheet for the PC to work from.
Having discussed all of the necessary topics, the PC adjourned the call at approximately 1:30pm, regaining 90 minutes of conference call time back into their days. ;)
